DOT Medical Exams

A DOT Medical exam is a physical assessment necessary for obtaining and maintaining a commercial driver's license (cdl) in Oklahoma, including evaluations of vision, hearing, blood pressure, neurological health, and other relevant health measures.

This examination must be conducted by a certified medical examiner registered with the National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners. Successfully completing the exam is essential to obtain the necessary medical certification to maintain your Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).

Once you pass the medical exam, you will receive a medical certificate. If you do not require periodic medical monitoring, this certificate will typically be valid for up to 24 months.
